Well good morning!! I have to say, I am very pleased to even be writing this at all after my crazy rain-thrashed four hour drive home last night from Brighton – wasn’t sure at a few moments whether I’d ever get home! :O
It was all worth it though as it was in aid of joining the lovely and oh-so-talented Louise O’Mahony from Oh My Honey and a myriad of other illustrious wedding industry folk launch Louise’s new 1950s inspired wedding dress collection!
This is a bit of an epic blog post – I had an awful lot of fun at this creative and colourful party and went a bit photo mad – but hope you will enjoy people spotting (there are lots of familiar faces!) and be amazed at the incredible dresses and entertainment that Louise put on for her guests! I am so in awe of not only Louise’s dress making talent but also her party planning skills – the whole event was amazing and just the best way to host a launch party!
First off, I want to share a couple of videos I did earlier on in the afternoon – first with Louise herself – the leading lady!

And I also managed to catch a word with Amy from Wookie Flowers, who created the fab floral arch entrance to the party.
Brighton looked deceptively sunny from inside the car. The metal chairs blowing across the road should have forewarned me though that it was probably the most blustery day of the year! Look at those waves!!
Before the party kicked off, I met up with a few new friends at Metrodeco, a gorgeous French 1930s style teashop near the seafront. I particularly thought of my friend the lover-of-all-things-vintage Vicky Rowe as I sat in there – she would have loved it!!
