This month at Boutique Blooms we’ve been busy with weddings, meeting new clients and hosting our own Wedding Flowers Workshops for those of you who fancy giving your wedding flowers a go yourself! The wedding I would like to share with you today is the wedding of Mr _ Mrs Flowers…yes that is their real name! Manuela _ Ian were having a Tudor themed wedding at the beautiful Carew Manor in Surrey. Carew Manor is set in the grounds of a beautiful park and dates back to medieval times with wonderful wooden clad walls and a very pretty dovecot outside too. They wanted the flowers to be in keeping with the Tudor theme and the colours similar to that of an autumnal palette.

Hi All, its great to be back writing for LoveLuxe blog and I am so excited to share this beautiful spring wedding with you. Natalie and Ed were married this May in the absolutely stunning location of Cripps Barn, in the Cotswolds. Natalie came to me asking for her wedding flowers to be centred around a natural, rustic style using seasonal flowers available in May. She was very clear on the type of look she wanted to achieve through her wedding flowers, decorating the already beautiful venue with splashes of ivory with the palest pink throughout.

Hello all! Well I think spring has finally sprung…almost (fingers, toes all crossed). Glorious weather might not yet be in full swing but wedding season most certainly is. I’ve been busy meeting brides who want to add in the last minute detail changes, an extra button hole here, a pew end there. It’s all a part of the process! I’ve also met some lovely new couples who have some very exciting ideas for their wedding days, I can’t wait to get stuck into those.
At last we have had some sunshine, and flowers having been coaxed out of hibernation are now opening up and shimmering with an array of colour. How English of me, I’m talking about the weather! which is an occupational hazard when talking to a florist and especially when you are discussing seasonal flowers for your wedding.
I first met Emily and Andrew way back in 2010, giving us a whole 2 years to be part of their special journey. Their organised approach to planning their big day meant we had bags of time to get to know them, as a couple, and more importantly understand the vibe of their wedding.
