DIY Tutorials: A Three Tier Victoria Sponge Recipe… Cake Anyone……?

So towards the end of last year myself and a few creative buddies decided to do a shoot. We thought it would be nice to do a little tutorial on how to make a beautiful, yummy cake! We had all seen a lot of the stacked Victoria sponges with cream and jam at weddings. These cakes all have a beautiful home made feel to them and are often decorated with white and red flowers (and some mini bunting of course).

Hi All, it’s Sarah here from Not Keeping Mum. It’s fair to say (though we may not like to admit it) that our cousins across the pond are a few steps forward than us Brits when it comes to weddings, celebrations, creativeness and the such. Candy/cake/dessert/cookie/sugar buffets and bars – is one fab idea that we have borrowed, and it’s one that is here to stay. At any event, be it a wedding, bridal shower, birthday party, baby shower, you name it, a table filled with sugary delights will always be a hit.
