As well as your photographs and video, guest books can act as fabulous mementos of the day. To sit down with your husband after the big day and relive those moments with heartfelt wishes from your friends and family can be great.
Hi everyone! Welcome to my first post as an Expert Contributor. I’ll be talking about a recent invitation suite I created for a glamorous wedding abroad and sharing the super styled photo shoot which followed. Having married abroad myself, it’s something I love designing for and always get excited about the fabulous destinations my clients choose!
Letterpress printing is a traditional printing method dating back to the 15th century, which is still really popular today!
Statistically, a whopping one in five of you lovely engaged couples will be tying the knot abroad (!) so it’s only natural that many choose to reflect this within the design of invitations, favours, table plans and lots more.
It’s so easy to get dragged into the post-Christmas and New Years anticlimax isn’t it? January kind of lands us with a bump, bringing us back to the reality of life. And let’s be honest, the weather doesn’t help either now, does it? (that’s like three questions in just 5 sentences – oops!)
Over the past few days, as much as I have tried to run away from it, I’ve been doing some reflecting on the year that past and thinking about hopes and dreams for the new, and I have to say, there’s a lot that I’d like to change, improve; situations and circumstances I’d like to change, improve or indeed make disappear. Then it struck me that despite all the not-so-nice bits, I have A LOT to be thankful for and to celebrate. So that’s the inspiration of my offering today. I don’t at all mean to go all deep and philosophical on you, but I’m extending to you an invitation to celebrate!
